Poster Contest Winners

First-place winners:

Congratulations to the first place winners of the Victoria Fire Department’s 2022 Fire Prevention Poster Contest. This year’s theme was "Fire Won't Wait. Plan Your Escape" Special thanks to the contest sponsors, including Victoria Fire and Safety, Citgo Petroleum Corporation and Rosewood Funeral Chapel. In a fire, seconds count. Seconds can mean the difference between residents of our community escaping safely from a fire or having their lives end in tragedy. That’s why this year’s Fire Prevention Week theme: "Fire Won't Wait. Plan Your Escape" is so important.  "Be Ready for the Unexpected, Especially while sleeping" reinforces why everyone needs to be aware of how to get out of a home safely.
