Keep Victoria Beautiful has awarded a beautification grant to The Salvation Army as part of its grant program that helps business owners and community organizations spruce up their neighborhoods by beautifying their own properties.
The Salvation Army received a $750 matching grant for exterior improvements at its Louis Street location, including a mature oak tree and other native plants, curb painting and new parking lot signage.
Under the terms of the program, The Salvation Army must commit to maintaining the project for at least three years.
