The City of Victoria Main Street Program’s Merry on Main is returning to De Leon Plaza for an all-day celebration befitting the new plaza expansion.
Merry on Main will be 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Dec. 14 in downtown Victoria.
The schedule is packed with activities for residents to choose from, with most children’s activities ending around 5 p.m. while live entertainment and shopping will continue throughout the evening.
Here are some of the activities that attendees will be able to enjoy:
- Mother Cluckers Downtown open-air market with more than 100 vendors
- Photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the De Leon Plaza bandstand (noon-5 p.m.)
Cookies and other goodies provided by Golden Crescent CASA while supplies last- Pony rides and petting zoo (through 5 p.m.)
- Inflatables for children (through 5 p.m.)
- Snow party hosted by Foamed Up
- Food trucks
- Appearances by special guests and community partners
The event will also feature live music at the De Leon Plaza performance pavilion:
11 a.m.-1 p.m.: Victoria ISD students- 1:30-2:30 p.m.: April Hall
- 3-4 p.m.: David & Goliath
- 4:30-5:30 p.m.: Stephanie Ross
- 6-8 p.m.: Christmas Tree Huggers
Handicapped-accessible parking will be available on West Forrest Street near the courthouse.
