About the TAAF Winter Games
The Texas Amateur Athletic Federation organizes athletic competitions for amateur athletes from across Texas and around the nation. The TAAF Winter Games have been hosted in Victoria since 2022.
The 2026 TAAF Winter Games is expected to draw 1,500-2,000 visitors to Victoria over two weekends, including visiting athletes as well as spectators.
“Events of this scale bring significant economic impact through hotel stays, restaurant traffic, retail shopping, and local travel,” said Sports Tourism & Recreation Supervisor Jerry Ortiz. “The TAAF Winter Games provides an opportunity to showcase what makes Victoria unique and reinforce our reputation as a premier destination for sports tourism.”
The City recently accepted a contract extension to continue hosting the TAAF Winter Games through 2028.
