Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing on the Proposed Budget of the City of Victoria for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, and Tuesday, September 6, 2022, 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 107 West Juan Linn, Victoria, Texas. All interested persons will be given an opportunity to speak and/or present written material on the subject of the Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2022-23. This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $1,373,703 or 5 .11%, and of that amount $662,887 is tax revenue to be raised from new property values added to the tax roll this year.
